Snake River – Whitewater Rafting with Sands

With so many options available it can be difficult to decide how to spend your time when visiting Jackson Hole for a summer vacation. One of our favorite things to do in Jackson Hole during summer is whitewater rafting on the Snake River. Rafting down the Snake River is a great way to take in some scenery while having an exhilarating adventure. With all of the features along the eight-mile stretch of river being class three or less, not only is rafting fun, but it’s also safe for the whole family.

There are several companies that offer whitewater rafting trips on the Snake River, our most recent trip was through Sands Whitewater and it was quite an enjoyable experience.
