The Hostel

The Hostel (thehostel.us) is a budget-friendly hotel located at 3315 Village Drive in Teton Village, Wyoming, at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Unlike traditional hostels, all rooms are private with en-suite bathrooms like a traditional hotel. Guests never share rooms or bathrooms with strangers. The name "hostel" reflects the philosophy of affordable, community-oriented travel. It has been recognized by The Guardian as one of the five best ski hostels in the world and praised by Frommer's as "a great bargain" where nobody will be able to tell you apart from those staying at the nearby Four Seasons.

Yes. The Hostel offers Quad Rooms with four twin beds, making it ideal for families. A rollaway bed with a comfortable memory foam mattress can be added for $5/night. A modest additional fee may apply for more than four guests in the room. We have a large common room and game room with ping-pong, pool table, shuffleboard, and more. We provide a refrigerator and freezer and microwave and toaster for food prep, along with an outdoor BBQ area. We are ski-in ski-out for winter travelers and one mile from the entrance to Grand Teton National Park for our summer guests.

Yes. The Hostel offers all-private King Rooms with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, which is the best option for a single traveler – no sharing sleeping rooms or bathrooms with others. Single travelers can meet other travelers in our large common room and game room, or on our lawn in the summer. We are located in the midst of the four- and five-star hotels in Teton Village, at the base of the mountain with all the summer and winter events and activities offered there, and within a mile of the entry to the national parks. Our staff is knowledgeable about the best places to go in the summer and winter and we are always happy to help.

Yes. We have many wedding parties stay with us every year. Jackson Hole is one of the most desirable locations for destination weddings, with many options for a beautiful wedding and reception. We don’t have facilities for weddings or receptions at The Hostel but many wedding parties stay with us to have a beautiful wedding in Jackson Hole with an affordable lodging option for friends and family.

The Hostel is typically the most affordable hotel in all of Jackson Hole during the summer, and the most affordable slopeside lodging in the winter. We are typically about half the cost, or less, of any other hotel in Teton Village. Plus, unlike other hotels, we don’t tack on resort fees, parking fees, or any other fees.
