Hotel Policies & Terms
Rollaway Bed & Extra Guest Fees
We offer rollaway beds, subject to availability, for a fee of $5 per day plus taxes. One additional guest is permitted per room (a third guest in a room with a king bed, or a fifth guest in a room with four twin beds) for a fee of $25 per day plus taxes. All guests must register with the front desk.
Long Term Stays
A reduced rate that is exempt from hotel taxes may be available for stays of 30 days or more. Call (307) 733-3415 or email info@tetonhostel.com to inquire.
Group Bookings
To book blocks of five or more rooms inquire by emailing info@tetonhostel.com or calling (307) 733-3415 during business hours and ask for the manager on duty.
Room and Floor Requests
We are one of the original, historic hotels in Teton Village. We have guest rooms on the ground floor through the fourth floor (three flights of stairs), and do not have elevators. To request a particular room or floor please call us at (307) 733-3415 or email thehosteljh@gmail.com. We will do our best to accommodate your request but reserve the right to change room and floor assignments.
Minimum Length of Stay
A minimum length of stay of two or more nights might be required during certain times of the year. If a reservation is shortened below the minimum, a fee will be charged equal to the number of nights required to meet the minimum length of stay. The stay must be on contiguous days.
Deposit Requirement
Reservations must be guaranteed with MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express. A 50% deposit is required on all reservations. The remaining balance for the full stay will be collected at the time of check-in, payable by cash, credit card, or travelers’ checks. A series of reservations on sequential days, and room-type changes during a stay, are treated as one reservation.
Cancellations
Your deposit will be refunded less a 7% fee if your reservation is cancelled by 3pm fourteen days before the beginning date of the reservation for bookings…
- of five or more rooms or ten or more days, or
- in whole or in part during the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort ski season.
For all other reservations your deposit will be refunded less a 7% fee if cancelled by 3pm two days before the beginning date of the reservation. The deposit will be forfeited for reservations cancelled after the applicable deadline above, and for no-shows.
Delayed Arrivals
If your arrival is delayed, please contact us at (307) 733-3415 or by email at info@tetonhostel.com and inform us of your new arrival date. If we do not hear from you on or before your scheduled arrival date, we may cancel your reservation and retain your deposit. If you arrive late without notice, we will try and accommodate you but do not guarantee that we will have availability. If you notify us of your delayed arrival, we will hold your reservation. Late arrivals who stay with us, regardless of whether we were notified of the delay, will owe for all nights of their reservation, including those during your delay.
Early Departures
If you depart before the end of your reservation, you will owe in full for all nights to reach 50% of your intended stay and for all nights within 48 hours after informing us of your change of plans. Each night ‘begins’ at 3pm, the normal check-in time. we will refund any remaining credit, minus a 7% reprocessing fee.
Pet Policy
Cats and dogs are permitted for a fee of $25 plus tax per pet per night. No other pets are permitted. Maximum of two pets per room. The first and second floors are our pet floors. Those that wish to request a non-pet floor or room, please request a room on the third or fourth floor. Dogs that bark when left alone cannot be left unattended in the room.
Check-In and Check-Out Times
Check-in time is 3 pm; check-out time is 11 am. Late check-outs up to 1 pm incur a fee of $25 plus tax. Check-outs after 1:30 pm incur a full night’s fee.
Arrival after Lobby Hours
If you will be arriving after lobby hours, please contact us in advance at (307) 733-3415 or by email at info@tetonhostel.com. Otherwise, please follow the instructions posted by the lobby door for getting your room key.
No Smoking
We are a non-smoking facility; there is no smoking or vaping in any guest room, in public rooms, or on the boardwalks/balconies. Smoking inside the building will result in a fee of $150.00. There is a designated outdoor smoking area on the north end of the building.
Minimum Age
You must be at least 18 years old to stay in a guest room unaccompanied by an adult.
Shipping & Storage Services
Items left behind can be shipped to you for a fee of $10 for USPS or $20 for UPS in additional to the shipping costs. Items sent via UPS are typically sent out on Tuesdays only. You must let us know the mailing address, a payment method if other than the credit card on file, the urgency, and whether additional insurance is required. We cannot ship skis or snowboards. We offer limited package storage just prior to your arrival and between adjacent stays at no additional cost and have self-serve luggage, ski, snowboard, and boot storage. We take no responsibility for loss or damage to items left behind, shipped for storage prior to your arrival, stored between stays, or placed in self-serve storage.
