Rollaway Bed & Extra Guest Fees
We offer rollaway beds, subject to availability, for a fee of $5 per day plus taxes. One additional guest is permitted per room (a third guest in a room with a king bed, or a fifth guest in a room with four twin beds) for a fee of $25 per day plus taxes. All guests must register with the front desk.

Room and Floor Requests
We are one of the original, historic hotels in Teton Village. We have guest rooms on the ground floor through the fourth floor (three flights of stairs), and do not have elevators. To request a particular room or floor please call us at (307) 733-3415 or email thehosteljh@gmail.com. We will do our best to accommodate your request but reserve the right to change room and floor assignments.
Minimum Length of Stay
A minimum length of stay of two or more nights might be required during certain times of the year. If a reservation is shortened below the minimum, a fee will be charged equal to the number of nights required to meet the minimum length of stay. The stay must be on contiguous days to satisfy the requirement.
Guarantee Policy
Reservations must be guaranteed with MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express. A 40% deposit, including taxes, is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance of the full stay will automatically be charged 14 days prior to arrival. For reservations made 14 or fewer days before arrival, the full amount is
charged at the time of the reservation.
Cancellations and Changes
The 40% pre-payment is refunded in full for cancellations received 15 or more days prior to the first day of the reservation. Cancellations received 14 or fewer days prior to the first day of the reservation incur a 100% penalty of the full cost of the stay, including taxes. Changes to reservations may be made 15 or more days prior to arrival without penalty. Changes made 14 or fewer days prior to arrival incur a 100% penalty, including taxes, of any reduction in the reservation.
Check-In and Check-Out Times
Check-in time is 3 pm; check-out time is 11 am. Late check-out up to 1 pm is available for a fee of $25 + tax. An additional thirty-minute grace period (up to 1:30 pm) may be provided at no additional fee. Check-outs after 1:30 pm incur an additional night’s fee equal to the room rate in effect at the time the fee is incurred + tax.
Arrival after Lobby Hours
If you will be arriving after lobby hours, please phone us in advance at (307) 733-3415 and we will provide instructions for picking up your room keycard. Phoning us is the best option, but you can also email us at thehosteljh@gmail.com. Otherwise, please follow the instructions posted by the lobby door for picking up your room keycard.
Delayed Arrivals
If your arrival is delayed, please contact us at (307) 733-3415 or by email at thehosteljh@gmail.com and inform us of your new arrival date. If we do not hear from you on or before your scheduled arrival date, we may cancel your reservation and retain your payment. If you arrive late without notice, we will try and accommodate you but do not guarantee that we will have availability. If you notify us of your delayed
arrival, we will hold your reservation. Late arrivals who stay with us, regardless of whether we were notified of the delay, will be charged for all nights of their reservation, including those during their delay.
Early Departures
If you depart before the end of your reservation, you will be charged in full, including taxes, for all nights of your reservation.
Pet Policy
Cats and dogs are permitted for a fee of $25 plus tax per pet per night. No other pets are permitted. Maximum of two pets per room. The first and second floors are our pet floors. Those that wish to request a non-pet floor or room, please request a room on the third or fourth floor. Dogs that bark when left alone cannot be left unattended in the room.
No Smoking
We are a non-smoking facility; there is no smoking or vaping in any guest room, in public rooms, or on the boardwalks/balconies. Smoking inside the building will result in a fee of $150.00 plus tax. There is a designated outdoor smoking area on the north end of the building.
Minimum Age
You must be at least 18 years old to stay in a guest room unaccompanied by an adult.
Shipping & Storage Services
Items left behind can be shipped to you for a fee of $10 plus tax for USPS or $20 plus tax for UPS in additional to the shipping costs. Items sent via UPS are typically sent out on Tuesdays only. You must let us know the mailing address, a payment method if other than the credit card on file, the urgency, and whether additional insurance is required. We cannot ship skis or snowboards. We offer limited package storage just prior to your arrival and between adjacent stays at no additional cost and have self-serve luggage, ski, snowboard, and boot storage. We take no responsibility for loss or damage to items left behind, shipped for storage prior to your arrival, stored between stays, or placed in self-serve storage.
